Verse of the Day

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the Land."

God Knows Best

The Lord showed me these verses when I was going through a difficult time in my life. I watched as men did things that were wicked and it appeared as though they were succeeding in what they were doing. I just didn’t understand why they appeared happy and as though they were in control and leading and I was so miserable and feeling pushed down. Trampled on is really more like it. I would pray and pray for peace and direction for my life and my family’s. And, it is amazing to look back now and see God’s provision for us and His undeniable love. God always knows what’s best!

We may think that we know the direction we should go in or what is best for our family, but honestly friends, in the end, God always knows what’s best. He loves us so much and really we aren’t able to see the big picture in life. And, He is able and when we are struggling through circumstances in our lives and can only see what is right in front of us, He is sitting above and sees beginning to end and knows what is the best road for us to take in life. Let me just say that I am so glad that I have someone to turn to ask for wisdom and guidance when things get messy in life. I have so many times in my life that I can look back at and see God’s hand of guidance. We just have to pray and ask God for clear direction for our lives. So friends, if you are going through something right now and you are seeing wicked men carrying out their schemes, don’t be discouraged. God is in control. He is working on your behalf. Just hang in there and God will give you and show you what He thinks is best for you.

Memorize this verse today:

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the Land."
