Verse of the Day

"Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

~John 20:30-31

Miracles

“If you’re waiting for a miracle, it’s not going to happen.??? These are the words that we heard from the doctor as she was reviewing everything that was wrong with our unborn baby. And she said these words to us to try to convince us to terminate our pregnancy because a team of doctors concluded that there was no hope that our daughter would live.

Do you believe in miracles?

We all believe in the miracles that Jesus performed while He was on Earth. We believe that He healed the sick and raised Lazarus from the dead and turned water into wine. But, do you believe that God still performs miracles today?

Let me answer that question simply for you: He does. And, I know that He does because I have a miracle who turns 2 years old today. If you do not know Isabella’s Story, then please read about it under About Us. In it, you will read of the miracle that God performed in my life two years ago. You will see that the miracle that we were cautioned not to wait for, did actually happen.

Miracles happen. They don't happen in every situation, but they do still happen. And, God performs miracles today for the very same reason that He performed miracles 2000 years ago: to demonstrate His power and so that you might believe in Him. It is exactly when a situation seems hopeless, that you can see very powerfully the hand of God at work. And, when He does work in your situation that seems hopeless, then there is no doubt that God exists and that He is all powerful over all of creation.

I urge you to believe in miracles today. Believe that God still performs supernatural feats to show us that He exists and that He is all powerful. Also, I urge you to make decisions in your life that give God the opportunity to reveal Himself. We never know if God will choose to reveal Himself through a miracle, but we need to give Him the opportunity to work miraculously in our situations if He chooses to. Because, when He does reveal Himself in a situation that seems hopeless, it is simply spectacular and there is no doubt that God exists and that He is all powerful and sovereign over everything.

Believe in Miracles today. Believe in God’s power and sovereignty. Believe.

Memorize this verse today:

"Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
~John 20:30-31
