You Can Endure
Do you ever feel like you just can’t take it anymore? That you have reached the end of your strength and reserves and that you will not make it through this trial? Friends, I am here to tell you today that you will make it through. And you will make it through by trusting in God.
In I Corinthians 10, Paul mentions God’s faithfulness and His watchful care over us. As you see in today’s verses, Paul reminds us that God will not let us encounter any trial or temptation that we cannot bear. And, He will provide a way for us to endure it. Similarly, David writes in Psalm 103, “As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust” (v. 13-14). God knows our abilities to withstand trials and He will not allow our hearts to endure more than we can stand.
If you are struggling today and feel like you are at the end of your strength to endure your trial, I am here to tell you that God will help you endure it. I don’t know how He will do it or when He will do it, but He will do it. He will not let you be tried beyond what you can bear and He will see you through whatever it is that you are facing.
God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. Trust in that promise today. Trust that the Lord of the universe is seated right beside you today and will hold up your arms to fight whatever it is that you are facing. Believe in His faithfulness. Believe in His strength. Believe in His love for you. Believe Him today.
