Today's Devotional Thought

A Woman Who Fears the Lord
In my lifetime, I have been blessed to have known some truly godly women. And while these women had different personalities, possessed different skills, and impacted my life in different ways, there was one commonality among them. Each one of these godly women loved and respected the Lord.
One of those women is my dear friend and After the Miracle cofounder, Wendy. Today is her birthday and on her birthday, I want to take a few moments to honor her for her service to the Lord. You see, Wendy is not only my best friend and ministry partner, but she is also the wife of a Pastor.
When I look at my dear friend, I see a woman who positively influences so many lives through the multiple roles that she holds. First, I see someone who loves and supports her husband daily. I also see someone who loves the people of her church immensely and who so genuinely cares for others and their spiritual growth. I see someone who writes devotions and books for our ministry. I see someone who is constantly praying and seeking God’s guidance in her life because she so earnestly wants to follow God’s will for her life. And the best part is, I see someone who is just being herself, loving the Lord, and following God’s call on her life.
My life has been enriched by simply knowing her. And more than merely knowing her, God gave me a priceless gift by allowing me to call her my spiritual sister and best friend. I cherish her, I treasure our friendship, and value so much the work that she does for the Lord. She truly loves and fears the Lord with all of her heart and because of that is being used mightily by Him.
Do you know a woman who loves the Lord and impacts so many others because of that love? Have you told her lately how important she is to you and how much she has impacted your life through her example?
A woman who fears the LORD is to be praised and emulated and cherished. Encourage the godly women in your life today by telling them how much their example means to you. Honor them for their love and service to the Lord.
Today, I wish my best friend and ministry partner a very happy birthday. May God continue to richly bless you, my sweet sister, for your devotion and service to him. I love you.
