Today's Devotional Thought

I am just giddy with excitement because in just over 3 weeks, we will begin our next Bible Study with the ladies of our church. I cannot even tell you how much I love Bible Study with our sweet ladies. The weekly fellowship, prayer, accountability, and growing together in the Lord is such an important part of my Christian walk.
I have had the opportunity to facilitate our weekly Bible Studies with Wendy for the last two years. We have done a variety of studies by several different authors and I have loved each one. Regardless of the topic, format, or author, I love getting together and discussing God's Word with other women.
Honestly, it is one of my favorite things in this whole world to do.
We always break for summer and as September approaches, I just get so excited to start up again. As Wendy and I have prayed about our next study, we have felt God leading us to the one that we have chosen. And, it is all I can do to not start doing all the homework now in anticipation of this great study.
Are you involved in Bible Study?
All around this country, Bible Studies will be starting up soon in churches this fall. And if you are not involved in regular Bible Study with other Christian women, then I highly recommend that you get involved this Fall.
It is truly one of the best ways to find fellowship, accountability, growth, and the Christian sisterhood that we all crave.
If you have Bible Studies at your church, please get involved. If you do not have Bible Studies at your church, then I recommend that you search for a study at a nearby church. If you feel embarrassed going to a new group, please don't. As the facilitator of the studies at our church, I can honestly say that I would L-O-V-E it if a woman from the community called me or emailed me and asked to join our study.
I look forward to sharing here some of the lessons that we learn in our upcoming study. And I pray that you all would find a study nearby that you can participate in also.
There is nothing more important that learning God's Word and how to apply it your Christian walk. As Paul said to Timothy, it is Scripture that is our foundation to becoming all that God desires for us to be. Join a precious fellowship, committed to learning God's Word, today.
