Believe in Miracles

Yesterday was the five year anniversary of the ultrasound that revealed that Isabella had numerous problems that made her "incompatible with life." It was the five year anniversary of a doctor pulling up a stool, sitting in front of us, and telling us that our baby had no chance of living once she was born and that carrying her to term was endangering my life.

It was the five year anniversary of doctors urging us to terminate our baby's life.

And, it was the five year anniversary of the best decision of my life. A decision to continue with the pregnancy and invite God to do something amazing.

Most of you are familiar with Isabella's story {if you are not, please read it on our page}. Her story is a modern day, true miracle. Her story wows me each time I tell it. Her story reminds me that God is still in the miracle business and he desires so much for us to trust him in our darkest hour.

Trust him to do something miraculous.

When I tell Isabella's story, the miraculous healing of her little body is certainly amazing. But friends, the story is so much bigger than that. Her story is one of hope and of faith that God can do things that seem impossible. And we just have to trust him to work in our impossible situations.

I don't know what your impossible is today, but I do know that God can do what seems impossible.

He can revive a dream and give purpose to someone who has lost their way.

He can heal a marriage that seems dead.

He can heal emotional wounds from childhood abuse.

He can forgive bad decisions and redeem a life that seems far off the path that it should be.

He can do all of those things that seem impossible.

What is your impossible today?

Friends, whatever your impossible is, please know that God can heal it, forgive it, redeem it, use it, and reveal himself in it. Also, please know that the path towards your miracle is a path of trust, obedience, and angst. But, at the end, is something amazing for you from God.

When I was pregnant with Isabella, a doctor told me that if I was waiting for a miracle it wasn't going to happen. Well friends, it happened!

Believe in miracles today and don't let anyone tell you that a miracle can't happen.

Memorize this verse today:

"All things are possible to him who believes."
