Enjoy the Heck Out of It

Recently, Beth Moore tweeted the following: If a really great day comes along in a hard season, it's best just to go ahead and take Jesus up on it and enjoy the heck out of it.

Oh how I love that!

Are you in a hard season right now? Maybe it is a season of affliction or persecution. Maybe it is a season of change or loss. Maybe it is a season of growth and pain that comes with refinement. Or maybe it is a season of great angst over decisions made by yourself or others.

Regardless of the reason for the hard season, I believe that God is all over it and all in it. We know from Scripture that he is using that very thing for your refinement sweet sisters. And, we also know from Scripture that he loves you so very much and wants nothing more than for you to live in sweet abundance under his care and direction.

And I believe that in those hard seasons, God reveals himself in so many ways. And one way I believe he reveals himself is through sweet moments of peace or respite in the battles of life.

A sweet conversation over coffee with a friend.

A beautiful sunset walk.

A shopping trip full of laughter and fun.

A movie with your husband.

Snuggling with your child after a long day.

A song on the radio that reminds you that he is with you.

A Bible verse in your quiet time that settles your soul.

There are so many ways that I believe God gives us moments of good in the middle of life's hard seasons. And when they come, recognize they have come from the Lord. Thank him for them. And girlfriends, in the words of our sweet sister in Christ, just enjoy the heck out of them!

God loves you dearly friends. Cling to that today and in every one of life's hard seasons!

Memorize this verse today:

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
~James 1:17
