Today's Devotional Thought

For Such a Time as This
A couple of years ago, we did Beth Moore's Esther Bible Study with the ladies of our church. It was a beautiful study of God's purpose and plan and provision for his people. And how God used an orphan Jewish girl in a mighty, mighty way.
I was having my quiet time this morning and I ran across a bookmark I had made from that study. On this bookmark were quotes and lines from the study. I have not read this bookmark in almost three years and as I read through the lines this morning, my heart became overwhelmed by the piercing truth in so many of the brief statements on that bookmark.
I want to share these statements from the Esther study with you today. I pray that some of them will touch your heart as they did mine. If you have done the study, some of them you will remember and grin. But I so pray that others will stick to you all day long and encourage you to keep on walking in God's plan for you!
Happy Tuesday and enjoy...
Please do not "tuch" the crown.
If I perish, I perish.
There is nothing meaner than a coward.
It is tough being a woman, but it is trust that turns it all around.
Who knows? God Knows!
It will often be crisis that pivots our direction.
And you shall know that I am the Lord, your God.
An in depth approach to Scripture changes so much.
You may be one brave decision away from the most important turn in your entire path.
We can protect ourselves right out of our callings.
Esther was called to obedience, not to figuring out how to do it all.
God's patience always involves his passion.
Am I strong or am I spoiled?
You are God. Make yourself famous through us.
And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this.
