Keep Singing

Friends, I want to share a song with you today. But first I want to set the stage for it.

Rainy days.

We often refer to them in the Christian faith as days that are dark, days that are full of trials. On some of those days we sit and wonder if we will ever make it through. We wonder if we will ever experience sunshine in our life again. The truth is we have to go to Jesus no matter how we are feeling. We have to continue to praise Him even in the midst of those rainy days. You see, He is in those rainy days as much as He is in the days that are full of sunshine. When we recognize that God is in both the good and bad days and choose to keep singing we will experience healing, we will experience joy and strength to keep moving forward.

It helps me to know and imagine that Jesus is singing over me and I can climb up on his lap and seek the comfort I need to make it through whatever I am facing. Friends, we must recognize that God is in control of all things and know that these periods in our lives are brought about so that we can be molded and shaped to be more like Him.

God brought this song into my life at a very special time, a time when I really needed to picture Jesus singing over me while I sat on His lap. So I share this song with you today and I hope and pray that it gives you comfort, that it gives you hope, and that it helps you feel and know that God loves you.
