Could it be that our discouragement comes from lack of action on our part?
I read this question the other day and I have been pondering it.
I know in my own life that there have been times when the Lord has been leading me in a certain direction and I have decided that I did not really like that direction so I went my way instead. It could have simply been to talk to someone he has put in my path, to step out and do something big for Him that I didn't think I could, or maybe it was a bad habit that He has told us that we need to break. Friends, we all know when God is speaking to us and let's be honest, sometimes we would rather sit on the couch and do nothing then to step out and do something that honestly could change our lives forever.
In our scripture today it says "God has given you the land." Why don't we trust Him today and just step out in faith and follow Him in obedience? He has already told us it is ours. Whatever we are to do, it will be successful because the Lord's hand is on it. I am learning that if God is prodding us to do something, then He will equip us and strengthen us to be able to do it.
Back to the question could it be that our discouragement comes from lack of action on our part?
I will say yes.
If we stay seated on our couch or stay in our comfort zone when God is leading us otherwise we will be discouraged.
We need to put on our work gloves and start working for the Lord ladies. I believe with all my heart that the Lord has something for each one of us to do. Don't sit on your couch and miss out on the game going on around you. Jump in and start playing!!
