At His Feet
Music moves me. I began singing I think before I could even speak. I could pick out a song to sing at church and find myself completely moved by the lyrics and have tears streaming down my face. Music moves me in a way that a good sermon or speaker does not. Don't get me wrong, my husband is a Pastor and I love a good sermon, but there is something about music.
Think about your favorite song.
Why do you love to sing it?
I have a list of favorite songs. Some of those songs take me to a place of worship, a place where I find myself full of emotion, full of love, full of adoration and thanksgiving. Some songs will take me to my knees in worship and I will stay there at the feet of Jesus.
Music is so powerful for me and I am so very thankful that God has given it to us, it is truly a gift and I am also extremely grateful that we take this gift from God and use it in our churches every week to worship Him.
I want to share with you today one of my favorite songs and I pray it blesses you and that it puts you at the feet of Jesus today.
