Today's Devotional Thought

Merry Christmas
Today is Christmas! You will wake up today with excitement and joy. If you have children, you will likey wake up very early and see the delight on their faces as they open gifts and squeal when they discover it was just what they wanted. You will probably eat way too much food and take a nap listening to your children or grandchildren playing with all the toys they got for Christmas.
But, at what point today will you stop and sing Happy Birthday to the one who was born over 2000 years ago? When will you pause and give thanks for his birth?
I know that at some point today, we will stop and take time to sing happy birthday to the Savior and discuss the meaning of this very special day. I am so thankful today for that baby who was born 2000 years ago who brings great joy for all people.
His birth was very good news over 2000 years ago and His birth is very good news today. Jesus Christ has forever changed our lives and our prayer is that you can say the same thing. Today, in the town of David, a Savior was born to you.
Merry Christmas After the Miracle Friends!! We hope you have a wonderful day with family and friends and that you pause to remember the reason that we celebrate today.
With all our love,
Wendy and Rachel
