In Your Tomorrows
Are you hurting today? Is that pain because of the loss of a loved one, bad news from a doctor or maybe it is from a deep betrayal from someone that you loved and trusted. It is so difficult to persevere through the pain that we feel. If you are like me you sometimes find yourself asking God, "Where are you in all of this?"
Well friend, Scripture tell us in Isaiah 58:11 that the Lord will always lead us, guide us, and satisfy our needs.
What does that mean?
For me, I like to think that it means God is in our tomorrows. That he has gone before us and already knows the pain and heartache, stress and challenges that we will experience. And, He is waiting there to help us through all of it. I find such comfort in knowing that no matter what my tomorrows may hold the Lord is already there waiting to help me through, to wrap me in His arms of love, comfort me, and give me strength to face whatever comes.
Friends, I don't know what tomorrow holds. But, I do know who holds it. And, I am growing in my ability to handle an uncertain future, knowing that it is held in the hand of a very certain God.
God is in your tomorrows, friends. He is already there.
